Emmanuel Church believes that the focus of worship is the pleasure of God and the renewal of the covenant of grace between Jesus Christ and His church. Our understanding of worship leads us away from personal entertainment and instead worship draws us near to the Triune God in joy.
In the Lord’s Service we sing Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. The Lord’s Service follows this Covenant Renewal pattern: Call to Worship, Confession of Sin, Consecration to the Lord (confession of faith, prayers, and the preaching of God’s Word), Communion with Christ, and Commission for the week ahead. Communion is held weekly. All who profess belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and who have been baptized are cordially invited to participate with us in the Lord’s Supper.
