This coming Lord’s Day well will tackle the Fifth Commandment and we will address this prescript from four points of view. First, we will address the narrow understanding of the Commandment which tells us to obey our fathers and mothers. Next, we will address the broader understanding of this commend, namely, the obedience to all authority. We will next move on to the issue of parenting, seeing how Paul connects this issue to his use of the command in Ephesians 6. And finally, we will address the covenant promise and inheritance which is attached to this Commandment. Hope to see you there at 10am on Sunday and may the Lord bless you and yours.
